Environmental Excellence
CasaClima Wine is a certification that attests to the harmony between architecture, nature and production processes, considering the winery's environmental impact, room comfort, energy and water efficiency, packaging sustainability and transport consequences.
With a constant commitment to responsible innovation, La Tordera now covers 70% of its energy needs through renewable sources, proving that quality and respect for the environment can run together, creating a more conscious future for the wine world.

FSSC 22000:
Safety and quality guaranteed
FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification 22000) is an internationally recognised standard for ensuring food safety throughout the production chain.
La Tordera obtained this certification in 2021, confirming its ongoing commitment to guaranteeing the highest quality and safety for its consumers, in accordance with high standards and increasingly responsible production.
Architecture and sustainability:
a natural balance
Our winery, designed to integrate into the landscape, combines sustainable materials and energy innovation to reduce environmental impact.
The construction of La Tordera winery in a modern conception took place in 2001, followed by a renovation in 2011, in accordance with low environmental impact and energy saving principles, so as to be certified in 2018 as the first Veneto winery Casa Clima. The wooden structure allows for better insulation to maintain a constant temperature, every room and the water used in the cellar are heated with a woodchip boiler, produced with recycled wood from their own forests. The photovoltaic panels allow the production of 350 kW, covering almost the entire energy requirement.
Water, used for washing the tanks and for some bottling stages, has been reduced and is reused for irrigating the vineyards during periods of severe drought. The use of fuels is reserved for agricultural vehicles only, while trying to optimise their use as much as possible.
